Fine Jeweler Verragio Giving Away 10 Engagement Rings

verragio-diamond-engagement-rings-giveawayVerragio, an upscale designer specializing in engagement rings and wedding bands, is giving away 10 engagement rings on the heels of a previous successful promotion.  The last giveaway, for 5 lucky winners, ended in December 2009.  Winners would have their rings selected for them from the Verragio Couture, Insignia, Paradiso, and Classico collections.  The rules of for this were fairly simple.  All contestants needed to do was visit Verragio’s website and select their favorite ring designs.  Then, after becoming a “fan” of Veraggio’s Facebook page, upload the design to the Verragio page, giving the style number and leaving a comment about the engagement ring.  The promotion was a huge success and the company gained a lot of new page views and fans.

For their new giveaway, entitled “Ten Verragio Rings, Ten Weeks, Ten Winners”, an engagement ring will be given away to one winner per week, and the first 2 winners have already been chosen.  With all rings given away coming from the not-yet-available Venetian Collection, it is “a great way to introduce the [fans] to the newest Venetian Collection by Verragio before they are even available in retail establishments”, according to Barry Verragio.  This time, Verragio decided to make eligibility a bit more difficult.

First, contestants need to visit the Verragio Facebook fan page and become “fans”.  Then, each is to replace his/her Facebook picture with the photo of the favorite Verragio engagement ring.  Then, after changing the profile picture, change the Facebook status to “I changed my profile to my favorite Verragio engagement rings and now I am one step closer to winning a Verragio engagement ring!  Become a fan of Verragio, change you profile photo and post this as your status to be eligible to win one of ten exquisite 18K gold and diamond engagement rings!”

Winners will be announced on the Verragio Facebook fan page.  The average retail value per ring is $3,200 and the rings do not include a center diamond.  The winners will have to buy their diamonds separately, either from Verragio or from another diamond dealer.  Barry Verragio is using social networking to create a whole new fan base, and it seems to be working like a charm.
