Stars Sparkle Down Red Carpets In Gold Jewelry

Every Red Carpet event guarantees a display of expensive gowns, tuxedos, shoes and jewelry.  Lately, those red carpets have been a showcase for the latest in gold jewelry, and gold earrings are taking over as the—literally—big item to have.

Actresses like Sienna Miller, Susan Sarandon and Eva LaRue are all wearing enormous gold chandelier earrings, while Patricia Heaton and icon Helen Mirren are also wearing gold earrings, though not quite as large.  Any designer will tell you it’s all about the hairstyle, the dress, and the event to determine what earrings to wear.  Whatever the size or shape, right now it’s gotta be gold.

Since most of us are not walking down red carpets as often, we can do gold earrings in a less fancy way, and not have to either spend a year’s salary or have bodyguards follow us around all day.  From understated studs to classic hoops to unusual drops, gold earrings are perfect for every day or special nights.  You can wear a simple pair of white gold studs to work, and then put on fantastic yellow gold chandelier earrings when you go out at night.

The good news is you don’t have to spend like a celebrity to look like a celebrity.  You can buy a fantastic pair of chandelier gold earrings for only a few hundred dollars.  Studs or intricate knots will cost you even less.  And if you don’t want to spend, well, the holidays are coming up, after all.

This winter, channel your inner celebrity and sport some amazing gold earrings.  You don’t need an excuse to wear them.  It is your God-given right to be fabulous whenever you want.  Enjoy it.
