Penelope Cruz And Javier Bardem Engaged

A close friend of Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem has revealed that the couple is engaged to be married. Rumors of pending nuptial have been floating around the blogosphere since April, but this time it seems like the real deal. “They're telling friends they will get married,” says a friend of the duo, who heard the news directly from one of them.
Cruz wore a big sapphire and diamond rock on her ring finger to the New York Film Festival premiere of her new film, 'Broken Embraces'. She wouldn’t say whether or not it was an engagement ring, but sources say ‘yes’.
Cruz recently revealed reluctance about being a wife: “I don't know if I believe in marriage. I believe in family, love and children.” She added, “When I [have children], I want to do it really well. I want it to be my best project in life.”
Cruz won an Oscar for her role in ‘Vicki Christina Barcelona’, and Bardem won one for his role in The Coen Brothers’ ‘No Country For Old Men’.
