Pam And Jim Of The Office To Be Married On October 8

Well, it’s official! America’s favorite couple - Jim and Pam - is set to get married on the October 8th episode of ‘The Office’.
During season 4 of the hit comedy series, Jim Halpert flashed the camera crew a diamond engagement ring, exposing his intent to propose to receptionist Pam Beesly. As is the life of a written character on a TV show, the opportunity for a formal engagement never arises or is thwarted by circumstances beyond control. In season 5, Jim is no longer able to contain himself and proposes to Pam during a downpour… how romantic!
Finally, on October 8, Jim and Pam will be married, and the entire Dunder Mifflin crew will be in attendance to add a little chaos to the ceremony.
Although many have argued that tying two pivotal characters together may be a bad move for the show, John Krasinski, the actor who plays Jim, had this to say: “Our ratings keep going up, so I don’t think anyone minds them being together.”
The hour-long episode promised to deliver the goods, plenty of laughs and a few tears. “I don’t think it’s the typical romance you see on TV,” says Steve Carell, who plays Jim and Pam’s boss Michael Scott. “It’s complicated and it comes out of a difficult place. That’s the way relationships are in real life.”
