Let Gold Pendants Express Your Love This Year

Most little girls love to play in their mothers’ jewelry boxes, to put on their necklaces and bracelets and pretend to be grown-ups. It’s in our DNA. My favorite pieces of jewelry were always the gold necklaces. I loved the heart-shaped gold pendants or lockets that were birthday or anniversary or “just because” presents. My grandmother had them, too. They are timeless because when you give a woman a gold pendant, you are capturing a moment in time—a moment she will always want to remember. When you are shopping for the woman in your life, let her know you love her by giving her a gold pendant, and a memory that will last forever.
Gold pendants come in a variety of styles. You can choose traditional yellow gold, or a less common white gold. Your gold pendant can be shaped like a flower, or a cross, or even the key to your heart. A simple gold locket can contain pictures of your children or pictures of yourselves when you were young. A heart-shaped locket is the perfect setting for photos of you and the woman you love. When choosing a gold pendant this year, try to imagine what she would prefer to wear—a white gold pendant or a yellow gold pendant. From there, follow your own heart in choosing the design. And know that, whatever you choose, it will be something that your children, and your children’s children, will probably be playing dress-up with after a few years.
