Diamond Necklaces: A Great Gift, or A Great Way to Bring Down A Monarchy

Diamond necklaces can be so beautiful, so amazing, so other-worldly that you can’t imagine having one of your own.  Diamond Jewelry is always an unexpected and fantastic gift, but necklaces bring it up to a whole other level.  For men, buying a woman a diamond necklace is a special way to express their love.  It can go beyond ‘I want to marry you’ to ‘you are simply amazing, and I want you to know it every day’.

Diamond Necklaces have always been items of legend, from the necklace for Marie Antoinette that indirectly caused the collapse of the French Monarchy, to the Koh-I-Noor diamond which is said to have been stolen from Krishna himself, to the curse of the Hope diamond.  All stunning pieces, although a bit over-the-top, but they all had one thing in common: power.

A woman wearing a diamond necklace feels powerful.  Beautiful.  Regal.  Whether she is wearing a less-expensive diamond drop pendant or a diamond-encrusted choker, she is going to feel fantastic.  Of course, she can’t really wear a chain of diamonds to work at the office.  That is for special occasions.  Those are the diamonds she takes out when it’s okay—even expected—to be showy.  But there are also pieces that are tastefully made with a few diamonds that are lovely, but not too sensational for day-to-day wear.  In general, a piece worn during the day can be “gorgeous” and even “fantastic”, but let’s save “sensational” for the night, for weddings and black-tie affairs and red-carpet events.

Know that when you buy a woman a diamond necklace, you do not necessarily have to spend your life’s savings—although you can if you want to, certainly.  You can buy a gorgeous and tasteful piece for a reasonable price.  Either way, you are getting the woman you love something that is, truly (and without sarcasm) a treasure.
