Chocolate Diamonds? I think I’ve had this dream…

undefinedInnovations in diamond jewelry come along so infrequently.  We tend to be drawn to classic white diamonds, the occasional yellow diamond, and, if you’re Jennifer Lopez, a pink diamond.  But designer Ian Saude has developed a whole new taste in diamonds, from softer champagne colored diamonds to deep, rich chocolate-colored diamonds.  Yum.

Although these are not edible treats, the designer feels that this will reach a whole new diamond-buying demographic.  These earthy tones are much more complementary to most skin tones, and look more natural when set in yellow gold, or the newly-popular rose gold.  The diamond rings, pendants, drop earrings, and necklaces set with his shaded diamonds are becoming more and more popular.

Although the diamonds are different in color, the traditional 4 Cs of diamond quality assessment apply—only now, the intensity of color is important, rather than the complete lack of color.  Both actresses Jennifer Morrison and Jessica Biel have been seen wearing this new trend, and they are, currently, only available in quality from Ian Saude.

All of the jewelry is being produced under the watchful eyes of Italian and French master jewelers, and must follow the exacting standards of the highest quality diamond jewelry ateliers in the world.
