Diamond Encrusted iPhone Is Most Expensive in History

A diamond encrusted iPhone has the world raising their eyebrows as to how someone could possibly afford such an expensive (albeit gorgeous) piece of technology.
It has over five hundred individual flawless diamonds, coming in at a total of one hundred carats all together. The navigation sight was created out of platinum and the phone displays a single cut 7.4 carat pink diamond. The person who buys the phone also has the option to swap it out for a rare, eight carat single cut flawless diamond.
The phone is valued at over $6.5 million, which is most likely the world’s priciest cell phone, and comes from Stuart Hughes, a luxury tech designer.
Too expensive for you? How about this more recession-friendly option: A shiny, made from platinum iPhone with one hundred and thirty individual diamonds, weighing in at .75 carats. The grand total is a magnificent 97.5 carats, which doesn’t include 4 pink baguette diamonds (each weighing two and a half carats). This phone comes in at about $2.5 million.
In perhaps an even odder iPhone design twist, Stuart Hughes is looking back – way back – in time. The iPhone 4 HISTORY edition uses a 65 million year old tyrannosaurus rex tooth bone and meteoric stone. Katherine Hughes, the designer, told Forbes blogs that:
“I have worked before with Dinosaur in the past but I wanted to go fierce on this one hence we sort a tooth, doesn’t come more fierce than that.”
Katherine also added:
“We then splintered and shaved the tooth into the pre-polished meteoric stone both of which were sort from Arizona.”
Stuart Hughes designs everything from luxury televisions to luxury yachts. He was born in 1971 in Liverpool, England. He and his wife, Katherine Hughes, formed Goldstriker International, which has been the basis for creating unique technology designs.
